You’re In Our Bowl!

prayer bowl
A while back the Hand family adopted a practice which helps us remember you in prayer. Your name – along with the names of all of our ministry partners – is on a strip of paper in a bowl that sits beside our dinner table. Before every meal, one of the kids selects (at random) someone to pray for. The Lord reminds us of how grateful we are for your partnership with us and this is another way we can connect with you. Since you are truly a partner in our ministry, it’s our privilege to lift you up! Recently we’ve been reminded that you may have some specific prayer needs which we can lift up for you.

Love the “You’re In Our Bowl” idea – one we could easily start as well.

    Hi,
Thanks for praying for us all. You have a good idea about the bowl idea. Do you ever have times you get the same name twice in a row? Maybe the people really do need it twice in a row:).

Redeemer PCA, Lord willing, should move in
our new building by Thanksgiving. We are enjoying our new minister, Dan Seale. Hard to believe he has been here one year.

This Jan. I got to go to Thailand.
It was quite a trip. I spent 3 weeks with my longtime friend Annette George, PCUSA missionary at Payap U. in Chiang Mai.

I have been learning to use watercolors. I have enjoyed it.

Hope you are well. Keep in touch.

Pray that I shall continue to grow in grace and truth, be more Christlike.
    Love,
    Mary Helen

I like the bowl idea… Put the Hollingsworth family in the bowl. Betsy, Ron, Keith, Kevin, Karan, Kris and our 8 grand children.

    Many blessings to you.
