Paul put it perfectly when he wrote “You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy.” 1 Peter 1:8
Thanks and credit to my friend Feyissa Wosenu for the photo above. This was taken at a meeting for college students and young professionals in Ethiopia.
Worship. Joy. Loving Jesus. Being loved by Jesus. Trust. Trials. More trust. Prayer. Hope. Rejoicing. This is what we see on their faces.
Learn more about Feyissa and his wife Mihiret here in this powerful video story about their great hope in the Lord of the Harvest. Feyissa and Mihiret serve full time with our ministry – called Great Commission Ethiopia in their country.
You are a part of this picture! …Building disciples. Increasing their joy in Jesus.
A notable side comment is that there are no American missionaries in this photo. Not that Americans aren’t welcome there – we very much are. But the Lord is stirring so much that these guys are sending out their own flock to serve and share His love in other countries. Not just a few, but thousands! This even amongst trials, persecutions and very limited resources. They are sending their own missionaries! It is truly a work of the Lord.
